The Pegram Board of Mayor and Aldermen met in regular session last Thursday. Alderman Bob Sanders was absent.
During the Sewer Board meeting, Vice Mayor Bill Herbert explained that a loan that was made several years ago from the town’s General Fund to the Sewer Fund has been repaid. The amount repaid to General Fund was $28,141.85. Herbert stated that “the sewer fund is in good shape”, adding that the loan has been in effect for a number of years, and needed to be cleaned up this fiscal year.
The Board approved Ordinance 2012-94, amending Municipal Code, Title 5, and creating new Chapter 5 entitled “Internal Financial Controls Policy”. There will be a Public Hearing before 2nd reading at the April 26th meeting, 7p.m.
Bids are being accepted for repair/replacement of vinyl siding and roofing and gutters/downspouts on the Park and Recreation building, Public Works Building, concession stand and pavilion.
Sealed bids are due to Town Hall by Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 3:30 PM. Bid opening will be April 24, 2012 at 3:30 PM at Pegram Town Hall.
