It is time to get excited for the upcoming Farmers Market season in Ashland City! The Farmers Market Alliance will hold a vendor information session on Tuesday, April 24 at 6:00 p.m. at the Senior Center in Ashland City. During this meeting, the association will discuss guidelines for selling products in the market, and permits will be available. The cost for a permit is $25 for the season, and the market will have set advertised hours of Saturday mornings, from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The market is public property, and individuals can sell products there all days of the week, except Wednesday, from dawn until dusk.
Acceptable products to sell in the market include produce, plants, canned goods, baked goods, art, and crafts. In addition, the market will be open to civic and social groups, as well as education programs and music performers. All organizations interested in participating that will not be directly selling goods will still need a permit to set up an information booth.
