The Lady Indian Softball Team hosted the Lady Cubs of Cheatham last Thursday. Harpeth started the scoring with 3 runs in the 1st inning but left the bases loaded. The Indians came back in the 2nd inning and loaded the bases once again but couldn’t get one across the plate.
The Lady Cubs got on the board scoring 1 run in the 4th and again scoring 5 runs in the 5th inning. The Lady Indians held them in the 6th but couldn’t put any more runs across the plate themselves. The Lady Cubs scored 2 more in the 7th to make it 8-3 final over the Indians.
