Fire Lights Up the Morning on Webb Ridge

Last Thursday, June 28th at 4:30 a.m. a house fire broke out and at 1051 Webb Ridge Road.

The 6000 sq. ft. home was completely destroyed by the early morning fire on Webb Ridge Rd.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It destroyed the enormous 6,000 square foot home there. Firefighters had to drive to a hydrant a mile away to get water, and because the road is so narrow they had to back the trucks up and down the road. By the time the first water was sprayed on the home, it was already too late.

Firefighters had to return to the scene during the day to suppress “rekindles”.

The owners of the home are listed as Hal Whetstone, Samuel Sanders. There were no injury reports.
