Cheatham County Community Theater Presents “Snow White”

Cheatham County Community Theater is pleased to present Jessie Braham White’s musical version of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” The play is coming to the stage July 27-29 and August 3-5 under the direction of Nicole Arnold.

“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” is the classic tale of a beautiful young princess who runs away to escape a vain queen. She stumbles upon seven unusual little men and begins an ordinary and peaceful life hidden in the forest. Trouble ensues when the evil queen plots to poison Snow White to lead her into an eternal slumber.

Friday and Saturday evening performances are at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday matinees are at 2:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $6 for seniors 65 and up and students. Group pricing is also available. Cheatham County Community Theater is located at the Jean Downey Theater behind Harpeth High School, 170 E. Kingston Springs Rd., Kingston Springs, Tenn.

Items benefiting The Ark Community Resource and Assistance Center will be accepted at the door. Specific items currently in need are toiletry items and cleaning supplies as well as specific food items including canned meat, dry rice, dry beans and tomato products (not soup).

The play is being brought to the stage in part by Community Bank & Trust, South Cheatham Advocate, Harmony House Publications and Heritage Bank.

Cheatham County Community Theater was established in 2001 and has brought years of enjoyment and support of the arts to the community, as well as supporting charitable organizations with a portion of the proceeds. Cheatham County Community Theater is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
