6th Annual “Friends Helping Friends” set for August 18, 2012












The annual “Friends Helping Friends” event will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at The home of Ric & Helen Olsen 246 East Kingston Springs Rd. The $25 wristbands are on sale at Community Bank & Trust, Heritage Bank, any current board member or Noah’s Closet (710 Hwy 70 Pegram, TN)

To date, our sponsors include: Ric & Helen Olsen, Jackson Wine & Liquors, Kingston Springs Animal Hospital, Ginger & Hutch Hockenberger, Kevin & Evie Sommers, Rev. Terry & Anne Carty, Community Bank & Trust and Heritage Bank. Auction donors include: Maurice’s Smokehouse, BEBO Art, Salon 102, RedTree, Sue Nichols, Nashville Predators, DollyWood, Vanderbilt University, UT, UTC, MTSU, Publix, Green Mountain Coffee, Arrington Vineyards, Cheekwood, TN Titans, Summit Brewing Company, Memphis Zoo, Hearth & Plow, Keith Parker, and more added each day!

This event is packed with great musical talent featuring 3 ½ Men , silent/live auction and great food from B&B Catering.

All proceeds will go to support the various programs at The Ark Community Resource Center: Meals on Wheels, Food Pantry, Utility/Rent Assistance, referral services, Community Angel Tree Program, Thanksgiving Box give-a-way, etc.

The Ark Community Resource and Assistance Center, Inc. serves the residents of South Cheatham County by bringing together community resources to provide physical, spiritual, material and referral services to those in need. Our vision is for families and individuals to develop the inner strength and support to deal with life’s challenges and opportunities. Our vision also is to create rewarding service opportunities for persons in our community that will enable them to discover how God can use them in service to others.
