Pegram 4th of July September!

Sweatshirts, jackets, blankets and great big smiles for the Dugan family: Parents Nicole and Nick, Harleigh, Jackson and Easton.

Last Saturday’s movie, The Lorax, was a hit with everyone! The crowd, that rivaled any 4th of July crowd, began arriving around 5:00 to get good seats! That turned out to be an excellent idea!

Refreshments sold out quickly, so Paul Cart, of Tee’s jump and slide, kept running home to replenish.

The incredible team that is the Pegram Fire Department set up fireworks that were originally meant for the 4th of July. Due to the drought over the summer, we’ve had to keep them in storage for several months. The display made up for how long overdue they were!

Everyone was wearing sweatshirts instead of melting in the heat! ALMOST makes us wish for a repeat next year!

Watch the SC Advocate and the Pegram Special Events Facebook page for all community events. We hope to have another movie at the end of September.

Thanks so much to Paul Cart, Tee’s Jump and Slide, the Pegram Fire Department and everyone who had a hand in Saturdays event!

The Special Events Committee meets the 1st Monday of every month at 6:30 at the park

One great show in a bunch of little boxes!
