The West 70 Arts Cruise happens this Saturday, September 15th 10am-4pm at 462 Highway 70 in Pegram. Mud Puddle Pottery Studio is the home to the event, hosting several local artists, craftsman and farmers around the property that will be selling their handmade, homegrown and homemade items, rain or shine.
This Saturday will be a perfect day to come out and buy local. The West 70 Arts Cruise will feature something for everyone such as jewelry, rain barrels, baskets, turned wood, handmade books, essential oils and natural products, photography, pottery, glass, lotions and soaps, candles and more. Almost Home Gifts and Décor in the cabin offers floral arrangements, embellished shirts and handmade jewelry.
Come support local artists and growers at booths under tents outside, along with several displaying their work indoors. The Art Center also boasts a gallery featuring the work of several middle Tennessee artists year-round. The Arts Cruise will take place on the third Saturdays of each month through the fall.
KLD Farm of Ashland City, Tennessee will be offering locally raised Angus Beef that is USDA inspected and free of growth hormones and antibiotics. Susan and Terrill Taylor will be will have freshly harvested pumpkins, grown right here in our area, and fall mums. The Taylor farm is a “century farm” which is owned and farmed by the same family since the mid 1800’s.
Be sure to put October 20th on your calendar, when the following West 70 Arts Cruise will proudly feature live music by local band Runaway Home. Sign up for Extreme Pumpkin Carving classes with Kingston Spring’s wood carver, Lundy Cupp. Art activities will be available for the kids. Come enjoy the local flavors, artist demonstrations and entertainment.
