What a wonderful week we have had at K.S.E.S. Thanks to all who participated in our Otis Spunkmeyer Fundraiser. We are still tallying and should have out top sellers out in next week’s paper. The numbers are looking great! The 1st and 2nd graders took the Stanford Test this week. Thanks to our proctors and volunteers who helped with this!
Bullying 101 – At 6:00 PM on October 2, 2012 KSES will be hosting a presentation on Bullying. This is prior to the next PTO meeting that evening at 6:30. Centerstone will present this program covering topics such as the signs of bullying, cyber-bullying and the difference between conflict and bullying.
Dinner and childcare will be provided for the students while parents are in the meeting. KSES students can enter an anti-bullying poster contest that evening for a chance at great prizes. Each student that wants to enter the contest needs to create an anti-bullying poster at home and bring it to the program that evening. Judges will award prizes for one winning poster in grades K-2 and one in grades 3-4.
