Fish Fry Dinner:

VFW Post 1970, 7220 Charlotte Pk. Nashville, Tn. Will be having a Fish Fry on Friday October 5th, Serving will be from 5-7pm. Menu will include Fish, Fries, White beans, slaw, hushpuppies. Plates will be $8.00. The Ridge Rockz Band will be playing starting at 8pm. Thanks for supporting your local Veterans, we hope you will make plans to attend. The Harpeth Wrestling Team will have a “Name Your Price” Yard Sale this Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Harpeth High School. No reasonable offers will be refused. Come out a see what the wrestling team has to offer. Team donations will be accepted as well.

Harpeth Annual Pop’s BBQ Rib Sale October 12, 2012. Pick Up from 3:00-7:30 (or until gone). Cost $20.00/slab. All proceeds go to the Women’s Basketball Program at HHS. The GriefShare support group will begin meeting on Wednesday nights in October and November at the Pegram Church of Christ (5019 Walkup Rd.) at 6:30 p.m. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. GriefShare support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Pegram Elementary PTO Fall Bash:

The Pegram Elementary PTO will be holding a Fall Bash on Saturday, Sept 29th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. We will have barbecued pork and whole chickens for sale. Bring a blanket, visit with friends, and enjoy dinner!

Friends of the Library Taking Book Donations for Fall Book Sale:

The Friends of the Library are taking book donations for the Fall Book Sale on Saturday, October 6th – please bring gently used books, DVDs, Books on CD, etc to the library.

December 1 & 2, 2012, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday. Cheatham County Fair Grounds, 870 Fair Grounds Rd, Ashland City, TN 37015. Admission Free & Free Parking. The Friends of the Library will hold their annual Fall Waffle Breakfast and Book Sale on Saturday, October 6th at the South Cheatham Public Library. The Waffle Breakfast will be from 8:00-10:00 and is $5.00 per person – Jim and Jane Caldwell will once again be preparing their famous Belgian Waffles with Caramel Sauce! The Book Sale is from 8:00- 3:00 and the cost is $5.00 per bag of books. The Pre-Sale is going on now at the library so you can get a head start on finding great titles. All proceeds from the breakfast and book sale go to the Friends of the Library, a Non-Profit 501 c-3, and help to pay for the wonderful programs and extras that the library has become known for.
