Community Bank & Trust announces their annual Customer Appreciation Day celebration event scheduled for Friday, October 12, 2012 at all locations. The theme for this year is “Red Hot Chili Lunch” and bank management and employees will be serving up chili, cornbread, dessert and drink free to all customers and friends throughout the county from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The celebration will continue until 5:00 p.m. to allow ample time for folks to register for several door prizes such as a “Spicy Hot Sauce Sampler Basket”, Toasty Warm Blanket, and Chili’s gift cards.
As an added attraction, all cooks, young and old, are asked to enter the “Community’s Best Cornbread” contest. Entry forms can be found on the Bank’s web site or at any branch of Community Bank & Trust. Special judges have been selected to pick the “best” cornbread in the community. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place at each branch location. The judging will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Judges in Pegram will be: Charlie Neese, Vicky Dillingham and Charles Morehead. Judges in Kingston Springs will be: Tony Gross, Glenn Remmick and Bob Stohler.
