HMS News: 10-5-12

What a wonderful week we had at HMS!!! We started the week off with Pajama Day on Monday. What a great way to start the week by wearing your pjs to school! Tuesday was Tacky Day and boy did we see some tacky students and teachers. Wednesday was Favorite Movie Character Day. HMS looked like a Hollywood movie set.

Thursday was the big day with Spirit Day, the Pep Rally, 5th and 6th grade Dance, and then the Homecoming football game and introducing of the court. Everyone had a great time at the Pep Rally with the 8th graders winning the spirit stick again! The band and cheerleaders did a fabulous job getting everyone excited about the big game against Waverly. The court was introduced at the pep rally and several of our teachers performed a dance routine for the students. The students seemed to enjoy seeing their teachers get their dance moves on. After school the 5th and 6th graders enjoyed a great dance. They were all showing their excitement and dance moves for a full two hours. Blaise Roberts won the dance contest.
