West 70 Arts Cruise Saturday Oct 20th

The West 70 Arts Cruise takes place on Saturday, October 20th, 10am-4pm and will feature live music by local band “Runaway Home,” “Extreme Pumpkin Carving” classes with Kingston Spring’s favorite wood carver, Lundy Cupp, free hand building in clay activities for the kids, chair messages and more. Come enjoy the local flavors, artist demonstrations and entertainment. Located at 462 Highway 70 in Pegram, just 20 minutes west of downtown Nashville, Mud Puddle Pottery Studio is the home to the event, which hosts local artists, craftsman and farmers around the property that will be selling their handmade, homegrown and homemade items, rain or shine.

The West 70 Arts Cruise will feature something for everyone such as pottery, jewelry, hand made furniture, garden accessories, baskets, turned wood, paintings, mixed media, repurposed rustic furniture and décor, essential oils and aromatherapy, natural products, photography, glass, lotions and soaps, candles and more. Almost Home Gifts and Décor in the cabin offers floral arrangements embellished shirts, handmade jewelry and beaded jewelry classes.

Come get a jump on the holidays and shop with local artists and growers at booths under tents outside, along with several displaying their work indoors. The gallery also features the work of several middle Tennessee artists year-round. The Arts Cruise will take place on the third Saturday monthly.

KLD Farm of Ashland City, Tennessee will be back this month, offering locally raised Angus Beef that is USDA inspected and free of growth hormones and antibiotics. The Taylor farm will return with freshly harvested pumpkins, grown right here in our area, and fall mums. The Taylor farm is a “century farm”, owned and farmed by the same family since the mid 1800’s. More local farmers are joining in this month, bringing their homegrown goods.
