The annual South Cheatham Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at the Harpeth High School Theater on Sunday evening, Nov. 18 at 6:00 PM.

Pastors from area churches will be leading the service and worship will be led by the group Half Past Six. Another special feature to this year’s program will be special music by Sunnyfield Drive.

The service has been a constant fixture in the community for many years. It is planned and coordinated each year by the South Cheatham Ministerial Association. “This event always provides our churches and community the opportunity to come together and celebrate God’s goodness. We are particularly excited this year to have additional involvement from groups within our community and churches,” said Jason Allison, South Cheatham Minister Association chairman.

The Ark canned food drive is held in conjunction with this special community event. An offering will also be taken to benefit the work of the Ark Community Resource Center. “We are thankful each year for the resources that are provided for the Ark through the Community Thanksgiving Service and the generosity of South Cheatham residents. Without their donations of food and money, we wouldn’t be able to meet the many needs that exist,” stated Missy Bolt, Ark director.

Everyone is encouraged to come and share in worship together, giving thanks to God for the blessings He has so freely given.
