Keep it Local for the Holidays

There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays.

And There are So Many Ways to Enjoy the Holidays Right Here at Home

CHRISTMAS SNOW

The South Cheatham Choral Society (Directed by Mary Combs) and the Bellevue Community Chorus (Directed by Dr. Jim Jackson) will combine voices this holiday season to present “Christmas Snow” on Saturday, December 1, 2012, 7:00 PM at the Pegram Church of Christ, and on Sunday, Dec. 2 at the Bellevue Church of Christ at 3:00. Every song in the concert will refer to “snow” in one way or another! Several pieces, such as “Silver Bells,” will be accompanied by hand bells. This is a wonderful opportunity for you and your family to enjoy a beautiful sound in a holiday concert!

The free concert begins with a song titled “Christmas Snow”. The next piece is a medley of familiar Christmas songs called “On With the Snow!” followed by an original piece by Mary Combs called “Oh, Snow” accompanied by bells only. Some familiar pieces include “Frosty, the Snow Man” sung by the men, an interesting arrangement of “Jingle Bells,” and “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” Mike Eason will sing the popular tune “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas.”

Ring in the holidays with us! It will definitely be a memorable concert that the whole family can enjoy. If you have questions about the concert or about the community chorus, please contact Mary Combs at 952-2340.
