The Pegram Bluejays 5th grade girls played at Ashland City last week. The Bluejays got off to a good start and led the Wildcats 8-0 after the 1st quarter. The Bluejay defense was outstanding, as they limited the Wildcats chances. The Bluejays led 13-1 at halftime. The Bluejays kept up the great defense in the 2nd half, and they extended their lead throughout game. The Bluejays improved their record to 3-1 with a 23-1 victory over the Wildcats. The Pegram Bluejays 6th grade girls played the Pleasant View Christian Warriors last Saturday. The Bluejays dominated from the very start, as they built a 16-0 lead after the 1st quarter. The Bluejays played a great defensive game and added to their lead in the 2nd quarter. The Bluejays led 26-1 at the half. The Bluejays kept up the great play in the 2nd half and went on to win the game 34-4.
