A reminder that if you are going to fish for trout at the L.L. Burns Park pond, you need to be appropriately licensed under Tennessee State Fishing Regulations and also have a trout stamp. TWRA regularly checks those fishing to make sure they are properly licensed. You can avoid an expensive citation. Also, you can check the regulations at .

The new ACTIVITIES CENTER is now ready for rentals. Plan to have your holiday dinner/party there. (New Year’s Eve is still available.) You can also do weddings and receptions, anniversary celebrations, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, or just plain ol’ parties! (Yes, alcohol may be served at events in the Activities Center.) Call City Hall at 952-2110, ext. 22 or 15.

City Hall will close on Tuesday, December 18th at noon for the last half of the day. City Hall will also be closed on the 24th and 25th and January 1st.
