Harpeth Indians Head Into Holidays

The Harpeth Basketball Indians had another bye week last week hosting Pearl Cohn on Monday then traveling to Sycamore for a rematch on Tuesday, and wrapping the week up hosting the Franklin Rebels Saturday night.

The Ladies had a rough week with 4 of their players (3 starters) out for the week with injuries, losing all three games, but it did give some of the younger girls a chance to get on the court for varsity games.

The Harpeth men lost their rematch with Pearl Cohn, then followed up with a thriller at Sycamore taking the season sweep of Sycamore by winning in OT, 50-48. The win came on a game winning shot by Austin Dole.

Following that night, both teams had a bad night Saturday with the Franklin Rebels winning big. The teams looked tired and ready for the Christmas Break.

The Indians will travel to Waverly for their last game before the break on Thursday, then will play in a Holiday Tournament at Overton the 27th – 29th before returning to District play hosting The Cheatham County Cubs on January 4th.
