With the release of her self-titled debut album, Julie Roberts became one of the most acclaimed country artists in recent memory. Her soulful voice and traditional stylings propelled her first single “Break Down Here” to the top of the charts and earned gold status for her album. Widespread national media coverage and nominations from both the ACM and CMA established her as one of Nashville’s brightest rising stars. She followed her debut with the equally well-received “Men & Mascara,” and the South Carolina native’s captivating story led her to Hollywood to co-write a screenplay based on her life with the writer of Coal Miner’s Daughter. Her most recent album Alive, released independently, was dubbed “striking” by the Washington Post. And the New York Times said “Who Needs Mistletoe,” her new Christmas album, “might be Ms. Roberts’ best work since her smoldering self-titled 2004 debut.”
