Indians on the Move

The Harpeth High School Indians Basketball Teams were on the move last week. They had 4 games and a Homecoming to accomplish and enjoy.

First the teams traveled to Camden for a make-up of the cancelled game from the previous Friday. The boys won their game, but unfortunately the Lady Indians fell to Camden. Then on Tuesday the Indians came home to host none other then the Indians of Montgomery Central. Both Harpeth Teams came out on top, the ladies won 42-38 and the boys doubled up the MC Indians 66-33.

Then on Friday the Indians traveled across the river for a rematch with the Cubs. Both teams played tough, but both Indian teams fell to Cheatham.

On Saturday there was another makeup game with Stewart Co. and also Harpeth Homecoming. The ladies trailed at the half, battled back, but came up short losing 49-44. The boys team won in a big way, 72-33.

This week the Indian Teams will travel to Stewart Co. on Tuesday and then come home for a Friday night matchup with West Creek out of Clarksville. This will be Harpeth’s final regular season game and also Senior Night so come out and support your Indians before they head into District Tournament play next week. All District Tournament games will be held at Stewart Co. in Dover. Go Indians!
