Former Kingston Springs Resident Honored by Cheatham County Commission

A recognition of and appreciation for Herbert Eugene Ivey was presented to his family recently from the Cheatham County Commission for his commitment to the Kingston Springs community and for his 17 years of service on the Kingston Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Ivey was also the first Captain to serve on the Rescue Squad.

Ivey has several children, grandchildren and great grandchildren still in Kingston Springs.
