I am a Boy Scout that lives in Kingston Springs and is a member of Troop 594. I receive the South Cheatham Advocate in the mail every Friday. Occasionally, I spot a few articles regarding my troop and I greatly appreciate the public attention that we get from such articles. I particularly like your January 26th edition where you cover both tiger cubs, the beginning of scouting, and a fellow scout and friend, Connor Moss, who is about to make Eagle, the highest rank in scouting.
Your paper does a good job covering local events. Your coverage of these local events makes it easy for me and other scouts in the troop to play a larger role within our community. It is particularly helpful when we are working on the Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge, which is required for Eagle which consists of doing specific projects that benefit our community.
Thank you for all of your efforts in continuing to publish The South Cheatham Advocate. If you ever get an opportunity, please stop by any of our meetings which are held on Mondays from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Pegram Church Of Christ.
Yours in scouting,
