Rehearsal is scheduled Friday morning, May 24th from 7:30-10:00 at Allen Arena on the Lipscomb University campus. Attendance at this practice is MANDATORY. If you do not attend practice, you will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. Practice will last approximately two hours. It is important that you are on time and cooperative. Dress for the rehearsal is casual, but must meet HHS student dress code. No food or drink is allowed inside the building.
If you have job responsibilities, make arrangements with your employer now to be off that day. Seniors will pick up their final report cards at Lipscomb. You do not need to go to HHS that morning unless you still have outstanding debts to pay.
Graduation will be held Friday evening, May 24th at 7:00 p.m. at Allen Arena. Seniors are to arrive by 5:30 and report directly to the gathering area discussed at rehearsal. No parents or other guests will be allowed in this area. Neither the school nor the graduation facility will be held responsible for any missing items left in the gathering room during the ceremony. Please do not bring gifts, cards, or other valuables to this area. Males will need to wear a light-colored dress shirt with a collar and necktie, khaki pants or slacks, socks, and dress shoes. Females will need to wear a dress or skirt and blouse with dress shoes. Your clothing should not show at the neckline or hemline of the gown(skirt or dress needs to be shorter than the gown).
All family and friends who plan to attend graduation will not need a ticket for admission to the ceremony. There will be enough seating available for all family members and friends who wish to attend. The front doors will open for guests at 6:00 p.m. The graduation ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Final exams start today and run through May 22. These are all full school days, 7:45-2:45. Please plan accordingly. The last day of classes for students is May 22. May 23 is records day and no students will attend that day.
There are spots still available for the first Harpeth High School Summer Day Camp. It will be held at HHS from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. during the weeks of June 10-14 and June 17-21. Weekly rate is $100.00 per child or $30.00 for single day per camper. Camp includes ages 5-12. If you are interested, please contact Coach Woods at 952-2811.

College/study tip: If you get to use scratch paper when taking a test, use it to “brain dump” as soon as you begin the test. Write down everything you can remember. . .formulas, definitions, etc., before you forget it.
