All children ages 3-12 are invited to VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL at New Bethel United Methodist Church on Pond Creek Road. Come on Saturday, July 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 1 :00 p.m. and be ready for fun! Our theme this year is learning about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and includes Bible Stories, Crafts, Prayer, Singing, Recreation, Food and Fun! Lunch will be provided. First Baptist Church of Pegram invites children to “Kingdom Rock”

Vacation Bible School from July 8th to July 12th. At Kingdom Rock, faith and imagination soar as kids discover they can Stand Strong for God. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into yummy treats, and collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them to Stand Strong for God. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Kingdom Rock is for kids from 4 years old through 6th grade and will run from 7:00 to 9:00 each evening. For more information, call 646-6400.

Cheatham County Animal Control Rabies Clinic

Cheatham County Animal Control will be hosting a $10.00 Rabies Clinic at 2797 Sams Creek Road, Pegram from 9 am to 12 Noon on Saturday August 3rd, 2013. Please pre-register your pet (first come first served) by calling 615-792-3647. Tennessee State law requires all cats and dogs, over the age of 6 months, to have a current rabies vaccination. Cheatham County Democrats

The Cheatham County Democratic Executive Committee will hold its monthly meeting in the Denney Room of the Pinnacle Bank in Ashland City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. All Democrats are welcome and urged to attend. Matters to be discussed may include plans for additional party-building activities, further efforts to disseminate information on the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), veterans’ issues, and long-term plans for the 2014 election.

Tennessee Gesneriad Society

The Nashville African Violet Club will meet on July 7 at the Green Hill Women’s Center, 10905 Lebanon Road in Mt.
