Wounded Walkers Pass Through on Way to DC

Two Marines, Adam Shatarsky and Chris Senopol, decided to walk from California to Washington, D.C., to raise funds and awareness for the Wounded Warrior project. They are calling their trip, the Wounded Walk, and they passed through south Cheatham last week on their way to Nashville.

Local resident and veteran Jim Habacker joined up with them on that leg of the walk.

The Wounded Walk began on June 15th, 2012 and will cover approximately 2700 miles before they reach DC in October. They are giving constant updates on Facebook, (Wounded Walk), where you can also make a donation. The proceeds they receive will go first to pay for their journey, and all the remaining funds will go to Wounded Warrior.
