Jeffrey Frye, new Spanish teacher

Jeffrey Frye, new Spanish teacher

For the teacher spotlight this week, we would like to introduce you to Mr. Jeffrey Frye, our new Spanish teacher. Mr. Frye tells us, “I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I went to school out-of-state at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. I studied Psychology and Spanish. My first impression of Harpeth High was “wow,” and so was my second. The students are very respectful and the administration and faculty are all so eager to help. I love the relaxed but goal-driven environment. I teach Spanish I and III. My general goal for both of them is to help increase their knowledge and interest of the Spanish language and the different cultures associated with it.” Welcome, Mr. Frye! We are glad to have you on staff!

The deadline for SENIOR ADS will be Friday, November 15, 2013. Do not attempt to submit your SENIOR AD through email. If you have any questions, please contact Natalia Fallon at or at 952-2811.

Decision making in high school: study smart by using these

techniques: find a good place to study, be organized, focus on one thing at a time, break large assignments down into smaller parts, and do difficult assignments first while you are fresh and alert.

Quote of the week: “Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes real happiness. It is not obtained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose.” Helen Keller
