The Harpeth Fast Break Club recently hosted the 12th annual Boy’s Basketball Steak dinner on November 2. We would like to thank the community for continuing to support this event with your auction donations, food donations, and attendance. The turnout this year was great and early indications are that it was one of the most successful fundraisers. This event would not occur without the local community’s support and the hard work of the parents. Additionally, a big thank you to Candy Turner, Peanut Gracia, Terri Fisher, and Anita DeFrancesca. These individuals do not have a player on the team, but are there year after year to help. Another huge thank you to the event’s founder, Jamie Wilson, provided invaluable assistance for all the behind the scene items as they came up.
The funds raised from this event will help support the Harpeth High School boys’ basketball program with the purchase of uniforms, practice gear, shoes, and other items in the future. This support enables the players to participate without any participation fees. Our booster club is just getting started, so please periodically visit www.harpethfastbreakclub.weebly.com for more information regarding memberships and future events.
Once again, thank you so much to all who donated or attended our event. See you at the first basketball game on November 12 as Pearl-Cohn visits Harpeth.
