Kingston Springs Elementary School Cardinals

KSES-Cardinals-SmallThe 2013 version of the 4th Grade Kingston Springs Lady Cardinals is quietly off to a 3-0 start with hard fought victories over the Pegram Bluejays (27-19), Pleasant View Panthers (21-6), and West Cheatham Cougars (23-12), who have all proven to be formidable opponents. The Lady Cardinals, paced by leading scores Whitley Miller, Emily Long, Laney Corlew, and Alyssa Tapia, have had a whole host of young ladies get into the scoring column this season to boost the team to an almost 24 points per game scoring average. Feeding off of Cara Stuart’s and Ava Pomeroy’s intensity, the entire team has shown great defensive discipline and effort to help hold their opponents scoring average to just under 13 points per game. Now the Lady Cardinals turn their focus toward preparing for Saturday’s road match up against the East Cheatham Dragons. Go Cardinals!
