Hibbs seeks re-election as Circuit Court Clerk

JulieWomackHibbsJulie (Womack) Hibbs announces that she is seeking re-election to the office of Cheatham County Circuit Court Clerk.

Julie married Ray Hibbs , a Manager in Customer Experience for Hewlett Packard in 2010 and they reside in Pleasant View. Julie and Ray are active in their church, First Baptist, Pleasant View and in various local community events. Julie has two children, Sara Womack, a Registered Nurse at Vanderbilt Medical Center and Sam Womack, Assistant Superintendent at Eastland Greens Golf Course.

Hibbs is a 1977 graduate of Cheatham County Central High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1981. She also attended the Nashville School of Law.

Coming from a family of long time public servants, Julie quickly became involved in working in various arenas to assist others and promote Cheatham County in a positive light. She worked with the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Dept. for 3 years, for the Tennessee State Senate for 3 years and worked with the 23rd Judicial District Attorney Generals Office for 12 years.

“ In 1998 , the good people of Cheatham County placed their trust in me when they elected me to run the offices of the Circuit Court, General Sessions Court and Juvenile Courts. Since that time, in 3 subsequent elections, the people of this county have given me an overwhelming vote of confidence in my ability to run these offices. I am honored in the trust that I have been afforded and pledge to continue to conduct myself in a manner in which the citizens of Cheatham County can be proud.”

Hibbs said she stands on her record of Proven Leadership and the many accomplishments and improvements that have been made in the courts under her direction. If re-elected, she and her staff will continue to work to serve the public in a highly efficient and courteous manner.
