Jodie Hardin, a resident of Dickson County, announces her candidacy for 25th District Republican State Executive Committee. Her name will be on the ballot in the August 7th election. Hardin has served in Tennessee state government for the past four years and is a mother of two school age children. She wants to help provide a better future for this generation and the next through better government.
The Republican State Executive Committee governs the Republican Party at both state and local levels. Committee members are not paid, but are elected by popular vote to serve a four year term. One woman and one man is elected from each district for each party.
“This committee provides a foundation upon which Republican candidates and the party itself can successfully build,” Hardin said. “Being closely involved in state government has taught me so much about how government works, what is necessary for change and where change needs to begin. I’m ready to speak up on important issues, to ask questions, to listen, and solve problems today that will affect all our tomorrows.”
Hardin is in favor of the sovereignty of state government, citizens right to bear arms, and unborn children’s right to life. She bases her convictions on her Christian faith and rural upbringing. Visit Jodie Hardin’s Facebook page for more information, and please remember to vote on August 7th.
