Harpeth Youth Cycling is promoting “Cross the Harpeth”, a cyclocross bicycle race, on Saturday December 19th at Harpeth High School. 100% of the money raised for this cycling event will provide support to The Ark Resource Center which assists so many South Cheatham County people through Food Pantry, Utility Assistance, School Supply Giveaway, Meals on Wheels, The Fuel Program, Angel Tree and so much more. Cyclocross bicycle racing is the fastest growing cycling discipline in the US and is an exciting way to ride your mountain bike or cyclocross bike for exercise and a fun challenge. Multiple races will be held around the Harpeth High School campus and throughout the day from 10am-3pm. The Harpeth High School campus course will include sections of the grass lawn, parking lot, stairs, and other fun features throughout for beginner and expert riders. Cross the Harpeth is the final race of the Middle TN Cyclocross Series with the potential for over 130 racers. People of all ages are encouraged to come out (kids to senior adults), ride your bike, and support the Ark! Race details can be found on Face Book – Cross the Harpeth and www.tbra.org/raceschedule.php.
Harpeth Youth Cycling, a committed cycling team of Cheatham and Dickson County student-athletes, is also looking for your help to provide a tax deductible donation to this awesome benefit bicycle race – our leading supporters for the event are Heritage Bank, Mapco, Sonic, Skyking Pizza, and MOAB Bikes of Franklin TN. We need your local community support! If you would like to contribute to this exciting day and assist The Ark Resource Center with a donation, please contact Cayce Tiesler of Harpeth Youth Cycling at firstname.lastname@example.org.
