Jeff Jeffrey and Elmo Mercer

Simply Southern Gospel will have a concert to benefit The Ark Community Center, Pegram, TN. The South Cheatham County community is asked to support this venture with attendance and goods for the Ark/Noah’s Closet inventory.

Anne Carty, The Ark, said, “We are appreciative of Jeff Jeffrey and Simply Southern Gospel for their support of The Ark. We are in need of several items: Bar Soap, Dish Detergent, Socks, Baby Diapers, Baby Wipes, and Cereal.”

Last year Simply Southern Gospel donated 240 + pairs of new warm winter socks to the Ark.

“This year we hope to broaden our scope a bit and get lots of donations for the items Anne has mentioned”, said Jeff Jeffrey. “One of the main thrusts of our ministry is to support those community support centers such as The Ark as they reach out to their local communities. The Ark is one of the best centers to reach out to those in need in South Cheatham County.”

The Southern Gospel Concert will be held at Kingston Springs United Methodist Church, 368 North Main Street on June 2 at 7:00 P.M. It will be a time of fun, fellowship and worship with some great talent: Kelley Cline, The Spontaneous Mountain Boys, Darlene Chapman, Elmo Mercer, and Jeff Jeffrey. Get there early because seating is limited.

In addition to the items needed for The Ark, there will be an offering received for the Ministry of Simply Southern Gospel P/R, Inc. a 501 C 3 non-profit Ministry.

Thanks to our sponsors Lakeview Market & Hardware, Cody’s Diner, The Ark, Simply Southern Gospel, The South Cheatham Advocate Newspaper, and anonymous donors. We are appreciative of their support of The Ark and Simply Southern Gospel.
