Wen. 1- Boys gon to the dance Charley Hooper, Mrs. Lingo dide. Ben Jordons babey borned. John Crouches babey borned. Worked on river for Chess and Wyman.
Thur. 2- Went to Bill Harpers mill for Tom Work. Made boards, Eat dinner at Charley Hoopers. Dick halling corn. Ewing and wife staid all night with me last night. Shelt no better. Mrs. Work hear today, and children. Ewing bought corn from Bob Lovell.
Fri. 3- Made boards for Tom Work. Dick hear to.
Sat. 4- Made boards for Tom Work 1/2 day. Went up the creek me and Mary staid all night with Ewing. Seen Mrs. Riggan at Andrew Hudgins.
Sun 5- Come home, Mary up the creek. Seen Gus Cullum and Tom Doziers son. Bill Nat Jordan and Bill Stephens hear to day. Also Tom Work.
Mon. 6- Hubert Crouch hear to day. Raining this morning. Mary still up the creek. Lish went to Nashville Saturday. Tom Work on the river to day. Bought one twist tobacco from Jordan 5 cts.
Tue. 7- Went to see Bill Stephens. Had talk with him. Seen Bill Nat Jordan. Dick Hooper hear to day. Tom got his house coverd today. Jim Hooper washing to day. Lish come home today. Jones at Rusteys yesterday.
Wen. 8- Rainy to day. Codey Hooper hear all day. Dick Lovell Pairlee Lovell staid all night. Monday night went to Rusteys. Sit till bed time.
Thurs. 9- Still raining, Codey Hooper hear. The American agent hear to day. Creek up. Will stop. Lish sick, Benton up the creek, cold rain. James Stone staid all night.
Fri. 10- In the woods all day. D. H. arrested. Rustey went his bond. He tried to kill his wife so I hear but I don't know how true it is. James Stone left hear this morning. Dock Crouches wife hear to day. Codey Hooper gone left this morning.
Sat. 11- In the hills all day. Lish helpt Tom. Dick Hooper hear to day. Tom DeMoss and wife parted so I hear. But I don't beleave it.
Sun. 12- In the woods me and Will King. Mary went to Tom Works. Newsom Jordan hear to day. Julius up the creek. Seen Henry Ragan. Ann Hooper better. Will stop. Julius come home. Tom Works family down sick, all of them.
Mon. 13- In the woods also Lish. Went to Pegrams Station. Tom Works family no better. John Howell died Wensday March the 8, 1905. Dick went to Nashville.
Tues. 14- Dick moving, Tom Work sick.
Wed. 15- Worked on river for chess wyman co.
Thur. 16- Dick Hooper moving today in the woods Vandergrift and Right, me and Lish. I would sworne that today was Saturday. I gained a day so I will quit.
Fri.17- Went to the Stave Mill. Mat Osborns wife died Wednesday March the 15th, 1905. Ate dinner at Sams store. Dick moving yet. Seen Fait Smith, Lish and Ada at Rustys. Dick and Anney hear. Tom Work still sick. Seen John Patrick.
Sat. 18- Went to see George Allen for chess and Wymon to help to unlode engine. Worked all day. Went to see Walkup to hire wagons. Hubert Miles hear to day. Dick thrue moving. Bobe Brown suid Fait Smith today or Guss Riggan did so Mose told me. Tolbert Hugley hurt his hand badley Thursday March 16, 1905.
Sun. 19- Went to the head of Sams Creek and to Ashland. Staid all night with Brandey.
Mon. 20- Come up on the stage with Tom Tom Hale. Rained all day. Eat dinner with John Stone, Gafford hear yesterday. Georg Allen son hear to day.
Tue. 21- Worked on the river me and Julius. Rained in the morning som.
Wed. 22- The same me, Benton, Lish and Asa Dozier, shelt bad off.
Thur. 23- All on the river.
Fri. 24- The same Asa, Benton, Julius, Lish staid all night with Henry Cox. Mart Brown died March Wednesday 22, 1905

Mon. 3- One the river all day. Dave Knight married so I hear, to John Elliotts widow. Allso Bill Golihear (Gallaher) daughter and DeSheals. Allso Harriet Crouch so I hear.
Tues. 4- On the stave yard all day. Rained. Put out the fire in the woods.
Wen. 5- On the stave yard all day for Chess & Wyman.
Thur. 6- The same all day. Stormey all day.
Fri. 7-The same all day. Still Stormey.
Sat. 8- Hunting wagons for Chess Wyman. Egbert Riggan staid all night. The boys went to Nashville, Benton, Julius, Riggan, Dick, Jerome.
Sun. 9- Mrs. Work and children hear today.
