Thur. 1- Baits Crouch and Dick Jordan hear to day. Lish and Julius in the woods. David Pardue over to day. On Pond Creek Dick Jordan sued the slat company today. No yesterday. Seen John Hudgens and brother.
Fri. 2- Cold and clear this morning. Bought one bucket 25 cts, one pair hose 25 cts, owe for them. Herman Riggan hear to day. Boy Crouch gon to Nashville so I hear. Will stop till night. Down to 10 this morning.
Sat. 3- Warmer today. John Hinson killed bey a wagon lad of ties turning over on him to day so I hear. John Stump and Mury Stueart hear today. Patrick hear all night. Come in the eavening, about 3 oclock. Lish went to Rusteys and staid. He is the one that told me about Hinson being killed Feb 3 1906. Patrick hear all night. Went up to uncle Jim Hoopers. Sit till bed time me and Julius.
Sun. 4- Went to church. Pat hear to night. Tom Cullam preached at Pond Creek. He staid all night with Uncle Jim Hooper Saturday night. It was Sunday night that I went up to Uncle Jims me and Julius. Turning cold to night. Pat all night.
Mon. 5- Cold, snow on the ground. Down to 21 this morning. Benton making ties this morning. Will stop till night. Jim Hatfield, Patrick, Tom Work hear today. Bought 6 twist tabaco from boy, 25cts.
Tue. 6- Cold this morning. Down to 10 this morning. Lish worked on the house to day. No yesterday. John Hinson buried yesterday and Patrick hear to day. Went to see Mrs. Riggan. Mildey Lovelace and Miss Nolen married Sunday 4 1906.
Wen. 7- Cold. Down to 8 this morning. Benton cutting ties. Lish out down to Dicks. Jim Hooper hear to night. Julius up the creek him and Patrick. Mary quilting or percurcing up the things to quilt. Lish stillout. Dun nothing to day but eat and sit bey the fire.
Thur. 8- Cold. Down to 8 this morning. Mrs. Work and children hear today. Dick Lovell hear today. Pat hear today. Got wood all day. Bill Dozier horse hurt. Lish went to Tom Crouches at night. I think that rabett hunt will turn out something.
Fri. 9- Down to 12 this morning. Moon in echips this morning. Ewing hear to night. Pat hear to night. Mary making quilts.
Sat. 10- Out in the woods all day. Sie Thornton hear to night. Julius and Pat gon to the river. Minnie Puckett come up today. Cold down to 12 this morning. Lish did not come in last night.
Sun. 11- Sie Thornton gon. Rustey hear this morning. Allso Ozies Crouch. Will stop till night. Lake Hoopers boy up yesterday so I heared. Heared nothing form Lish and Allen yet. Down to 12 this morning. Cloudey this eaveing. Benton picking the banjo. Lish and Allen come home to night. Boat did not come. Two of Collins children, Sallie Hudggins hear tonight.
Mon. 12- Halled ties and lumber from the river. Bess Riggan, Carry Riggan hear to night.
Tue. 13- Paid Tom Crouch 2.30 cts intrest for Jess Dozier. Dick Lovell hear to day. Well I will quit till night.
Wen. 14- Snowing this morning. Went to Dick Lovells. Half sold boots. Andrew Hudgins hear to day. Allso Baits Crouch Fowler and Oliver hear yesterday. Seen Mrs. Riggan yesterday.
Thur. 15- I have got things rong. It was Wednesday that Henry Fowler was hear. I went Dick Lovells Thursday. Hudgins hear on Thursday. Owe Dick Lovell 2.80 cts.
Fri. 16- Ewing and wife come to day. Dick Lovell and Tom Work hear to day. Paid off all judgements aganst me on Tom Crouches docket to day. Jim Lovells babey borned Sunday the 11th 1906. Boy so I heared today. Lish, Julius, Ewing out to night. Pat hear to night. Cold. Seen Jordan, Rusteys to day.
Sat. 17- Dun nothing all day. Ewing gon home. Benton gon home with him to stay all night. Pat hear all night. Jack work hear to day. Dick Hooper cutting ties. Bought 2 lbs butter from Pad Jordan 30 cts. Julius up the creek. Dick Lovell at home I recon. Well it snowed some today and turned warm.
Sun. 18- This is a prettie morning. Fine shuggar day. Will stop till night. Ed Harris hear to night. Mrs. Work and children hear to day. Allso Collings and Patrick. Lish and Julius out. Hubert Crouch bought him horse and buggy today. Benton come home. Still warm.
Mon. 19- Went to Ashland all night. At Brandeys me and John Dillingham.
Tue. 20- Come home. Seen Asa Dozier. Paid Mrs. Riggans taxes. Cloudey. Warm.
Wen. 21- Raind some to day. Benton making ties. Lish and Julius come in. Mrs. Work and children hear yesterday. Allso Pairlee Lovell. Ozie Crouch moved to Buffalow Monday February the 19 1906.
Thur. 22- Went to Ralph Smiths. Eat dinner ther. Bought hat from John Moor 2.25. Frank McMillon paid me 2.00 dollars to day. Bought one twist tobacco 5 cts. Agness Riggan and daughter hear today. Pat gon. He staid all night last night hear. Lish and Julius cutting ties. Daze Night. Very Low.
Fri. 23- Warm today. John Banister hear this morning. Me and Mary. Lish and Julius cutting ties. Allso Benton, Mary washing. Percey Hooper got hurt Thursday 22ond. Brown Hooper come up today. Bessie Riggan and Carry staid all night hear. Lish all night at Rusteys. Pat at Dicks staid all night ther. Betey Hooper come down today. Her son hurt.
Sat. 24- Raining this morning. Lish out to day. Went to mill. Seen Codey Hooper and sister. Percey Hooper No better. He is bad. Leg hurt. Head busted.
Sun. 25- Herman Riggan hear this morning. Lish gone to Pond Creek. The woods on fire so Herman told me. Bought one bolting hammer from Jo Hale. 20 cts, oysters 10 cts, snuff 5cts, yesterday from Jo Hale. Paid cash for same.
Mon. 26- Went to hear Bob Taylor at Ashland me and Uncle Jim Hooper. Mary went to see her mother. Set up all night at Jim Riggans. Minnie Pucketts babey dead. Died to day. Raind to day. Mintey got the Phnumonia.
Tue. 27- Come home. Dun nothing all day. Pat hear Mintey no better. Mary up the creek. Cold today. Snow.
