Tue. 1- Egbert Hoopers babey bornd today. A girl. Halled lumber me and Allen. Lish and Pat Hooper come up from Nashville. I was glad to see Pat. Paid Shepards 1.10 cts in full. Pat Hooper staid all night.
Wen. 2- Went to Pegrams Sta with Pat Hooper. I staid all night with ewing. Raind today. Seen Bill Greer.
Thur. 3- Come home. Spent 7cts today. McCoy staid all night. Raind hard today. George Collins, Allen , Jim Hooper and Dick Lovell hear today.
Fri. 4- Worked on the snakehouse allso Allen. Allen hear today. Fanny Brown died today.
Sat. 5- Worked on house me and Allen. Egbert Hoopers babey died today.
Sun. 6- Duge grave. Mary at Dicks eat dinner ther. Warm summer weather today. 74 today. I have just heard of Fanny Browns death. She was a fine girl and a good woman.
Mon. 7- Worked on house. Allso Dick Lovell and Lish. Raind today. Dick Lovell gone home.
Tue. 8- Worked on house. Raind. Allen mooved to day to the old Cairold Allen place. Give Allen a check for 19.50 for hogs and halling and work.Tom Work hear.
Wen. 9- Sloan hear today. Mary is all right but from this day I will as I can and try to make money and keepe it. Raining today. Hubert Crouch hear today.
Thur. 10- Killed hogs at Rusteys. Bought one hog from Rustey $15.99 cts. Two from Allen 15 dollars.
Fri. 11- Cut out meat. Dick Lovell hear. Owe him 50cts for work. Raind today. Hot. Tom Work hear to day.
Sat. 12- Ground sausage. Cooked lard. Cleand hog fat. Got thrue.
Sun. 13- Went to see Mrs. Riggan me and Mary. Seen Ewing Hooper at Mrs. Butlers. Raind hard.
Mon. 14- Worked on house today. Tom Work, Lish, Benton and Dick makeing ties.
Tue. 15- Went to Ashland. Drew out of the bank 50 dollars. Paid Crouch and Brown up in full $6.89 cts. Paid to Ben Jordan 3 dollars to go to his father for lumber. One dinner bucket 35cts. Ferage 10cts. Total $10.35 paid out today. Pairlee Lovell staid all night hear. Seen Mrs. Knight.
Wen. 16- Tom Work and Dick Hooper hear today. Dick Lovell gon to Ashland. Bought of Crouch and Brown oil 10cts, snuff 10cts. Paid cash 40cts. Paid Dick Lovell 50cts. Total 90cts today.
Thur. 17- Warm this morning. 76 yesterday. Herman Riggan went to Ashland yesterday. Hubert Crouch hear today. Lish give him check for 5 dollars. Benton staid all night ther.
Fri. 18- Paid Puss 75 cts for washing. Bought of Crouch and Brown flour 60 cts, soap 25cts. Total 85 cts. Paid them cash. Total 1.60 spent today.
Sat. 19- Lish gon to Jess Hales. Egbert Riggan staid all night last night. Julius come home. Cary Riggan and sister, Mr. Collings hear today. Eat dinner hear. Egbert Riggan gon home. Benton gon with him. Cloudey and warm. Will stop till night. Carry and sister all night. Raind hard.
Sun. 20- Mrs. Lucy Lovell fell dead this morning at 5 oclock. Mrs. Darrow operated on Saturday Jan 19.
Mon. 21- Killed hogs. Dick Hooper went to Ashland for envelopes 25cts. Spent the day. Tom Work helpte kill hogs.
Tue. 22- Salted meat. Tom Crouch helped me. Boys tie makeing.
Wen. 23- Ground sausage and made souse. Worked all day.
Thur. 24- Went over on the river at old man Wash Allens. Seen George Allen and wife and son. Seen Will Knight, Annie Hooper, Mrs. Work, Herman Riggan, Bill Dozier hear today. Paid Crouch and Brown 3.50 in full of act. today. Bought one sack meal 40cts, sodey 5cts, paid cash. Total 3.65 paid out today. Herman Riggan paid me five dollars in full today. Turning warm today. Boys tie makeing.
Fri. 25- Cloudey this morning. 3 oclock sleetting this eaveing. Cold. Got wood. Paid Rustey 5.50 cts in full for meat.
Sat. 26- Snow on the ground this morning. Cold. Down to 10. Lish up the creek. Carmack Nash hear yesterday. Dick Hooper hear this morning. Going to Crouches and Brown store after snuff. Bought of Crouch snuff 50cts. Paid cash. Dick lovell staid all night hear tonight.
Sun. 27- Cold. Snow on the ground. Dick Lovell gon home. Herman Riggan hear today. Went to Rusteys. Sit till bed time.
Mon. 28- James Hooper hear today. Allso Tom Work. Cold. Snow on ground. Will get some wood. Jim got his pig. 25cts for stamps today.
Tue. 29- Bought of Crouch and Brown oil 20cts, wash boards 35 cts, box paper 10cts. Total 65cts. Paid cash. John Anderson died this morning. He was a step son of Cannon and Dazey Allen. At Rusteys. Went on note for Hubert Crouch. Me and Him Hooper for 45 dollars. Going to Ben Hale.
Wen. 30- Jim Hooper, Mrs. Work and children hear to day. Dazey Allen gon home.
Thur. 31- Went to see Mrs. Knight. Bought of Crouch and Brown one sack meal 40cts, one pipe 5cts. Paid cash for meal. Forgot to pay for pipe. Owe for pipe 5cts. George Allen bought Mrs. Knights farm Friday January 25 1907 so I hear. Raind today. Tom Work, Bill Dozier hear today. So this ends the month of January 1907.

Sat. 2- Went Dick Lovells. Riand this morning. Lish went to Ashland him and Tom Work. Turned cold today. Hollis at Rusteys. Bought of Crouch and Brown coffee 1.00, shuggar 50cts, Paid cash. Lont Lish one 1.00. Dic Lovell all night at Dick Hoopers.
Sun .3- Cold this morning. Asa Dozier staid all night last night. Dick Lovell gon home. Cold today.
Mon. 4- Sleeting this morning. Cold heavey sleet. Rustey broke his slide this morning. Out of wood.
Tue. 5- Cold, snow and sleet. Frank Mc Millon hear today. Loant him 40 dollars.
Wen. 6- Cold snow on the ground. Down to 6 this morning. Still out of wood but ther is a heap funn in getting it. Tom Work and Si Thornton hear today. Julius come home. Jim Riggan beter. Dick Lovell hear today. Asa Dozier hear.
Thur. 7- Frank McMillion hear today. Ed Sanders hear. Julius went to Ewings. Staid all night ther.
Fri. 8- Paid Ben Jordan 50cts for halling. Julius came home. He seen Jim Collin. Cold. Snow on the ground. Mary got a letter from Fran Dozier. I got one from Pat Hooper.
Sat. 9- Cold, Snow on the ground. I think the devil is all ways in man or most of the time. Well today is the 9th of February and Saturday at that 1907. C.S. Hooper of Sams Creek Cheatham Countey Tennessee.
Sun. 10- Herman Riggan hear this morning. Lish gone to Sunday school. Me at home. Mary give out, Going to ewings to day.
Mon. 11- Went to uncle Lige Hooper me and mary. Bought of Crouch and Brown one sack meal 40cts. paid cash. Dock Allen hammered ties today for Benton on Eck Hoopers tract. White oak 7.25. Chestnut 10.13 Red oak 4.13 1/2 . Black walnut 10.20 on Crouch tract. Cloudey to day. Seen Collings and Tom Work today. Bill and Asa hear tonight; Benton made ties to day. Broke his
ax. Tom Work and Dick Hooper bought all the timber on the west side of Sams Creek on the Eck Hooper tract from Lish and Benton for one hundred and fiftey dollars.
Tue. 12- Hunge up meat. Maud Jordan hear today. Spent 25 cts for garden seed. Bill and Asa helpt me hang meat. Boys cutting ties. Warm today.
Wen. 13- Got store wood. Bought of Crouch and Brown oil 25cts, chees 5cts. Total 25cts paid cash. Dick Lovell Tom Work hear today. Warm today. 70. Went in my shirt sleeves all day. Dazy Allen at Rusteys. Boys cutting ties.
Thur. 14- Cooler this morning. Bessie Riggan, Delphy Butler hear today. Bramer staid all night hear.
Fri. 15- Went to Ewings me and Mary. Staid all night ther, Cool. Frost on the ground. Seen Jess Hale. Seen Sam Colran. Bramer left here this morning. Frank McMillion hear today. Loant him 20 dollars. Dick Lovell hear today. Eat dinner hear.
Sat. 16- At Ewings me and Mary. Staid all night ther. Bought a farm today. 2 mules and harness, corn and hay, plows and mowers and rake and roler. Black smith shop and tolls. One drag or surry and harness. All the hoes, one cultivator, one wagon and harness, 5 plows, one hundred acres readey for the plow. Good house and barn. 2 good houses on the farm. Dewling house for two thousand six hundred dollars. Cash.
Sun .17- Come home me and Mary. Seen Jim Colvin and Mrs. Riggan, Jim Riggan, Julius, McLaw, Dock Dozier, Jess Hale, his mother, and Russ Colvin.
Mon. 18- Went to Ashland. Bought one hammer from John Duke one dollar, ferage 10cts, shave 10cts, one twist tobaco 5cts. Total 1.25 spent today.
Tue. 19- Went to Beasleys. Bought a farm, 2 mules, 25 lbs corn, 3 tons of hay, one surry, 5 plows, 3 shovels, one cultivator, one wagon harness, one roler, one mower, and rake, one blacksmith shop and all tools, 2 shovels for 2600 hundred dollars cash.
Wen. 20- Come home. Ed Harris staid all night last night.
Thur. 21- Snow this morning. Cold, Lish sick. Went to Ashland had deed put to record. Candey 20cts, to deed 4.75, ferage 10cts, one twist tabaco 5 cts. Total 5.10cts spent today.
Fri. 22- At home all day. The widow Gleaves died thursday Feburay 21st 1907 at Ashland City. Lish sick. Cold.
Sat. 23- Cold rain this morning and sleet. Bought of Crouch and Brown half soles and tacks 50cts. Paid cash for same. Lish sick. Seen Pack Vick today. Dazey Allen at Rusteys all so Margrett Dozier. Julius come home. Dun nothing all day.
Sun. 24- Still raining this morning. Tom Work, Dick Lovell hear.
Mon. 25- At home all day. Dun nothing. Lish sick. Mary not well.
Tue. 26- Went to see Hamton. Found him sick in bed. Staid all night with Ozie Crouch. Seen Wilobey Jordan. Paid Jo Hale up in full 10cts. Bought one twist tabaco 10cts, Total 20cts. Seen Ross Moors and Jo.
Wen. 27- Come home. Lesley Crouch come home with me. Staid all night.
Thur.28- Raining this morning. Creek up . Julius and Oley Butler hear. Lesley hear. Lish gon to the store. Too wet to plow. Will stop till night. Well the babey porde out my ink so I will take the pencil. Hubert Crouch and Nash hear to day. So this winds up the month of February 1907. Febuary the 18th 1907 made Mary a deed to day to a part of the Beasley farm. She paid for half 1300 hundred dollars in cash for same.
