Sun. 1- At Pegrams Sta. Lampley lost his hourse bey a fire and all he had. Damage 2000 dollars. Mrs. Riggan gone home. Mary not well. Julius come home. Seen Jeff Hale.
Mon. 2- Warm today. Benton and julius plowing. Went to Kingston. Bought of Moore black oil 15cts. Paid cash. Benton not well.
Tue. 3- Went to Kingston. Give to Will Lampley for Benton $1.00. Julius $1.00. Mary $1.00. Clabe $2.00. Total $5.00 dollars. Lodge dues $3.00 dollars, meal 80cts, envelopes 54cts. Total 9.50. No $9.34 cts spent today. Turning cooler.
Wen. 4- Paid Dr. Liles $110 one hundred and ten dollars today in full. Jim Stover hear to day. Herman Riggan bad off so Jim Riggan ses. Melve Hooper died yesterday.
Thur. 5- Brown and Marthey come. Staid all day and night. Jim Stover hear. Bought of Ed Page coffee 50cts, 5 cans fruit 75cts. Total 1.25 spent toda. Ed clark come tonight.
Fri. 6- Brown and Marthey gone home. Stover hear. John Ackens sister married Sunday May the first 1910.
Sat. 7- Dick Hooper, Ewing Hooper, Jim Stover, Egbert Riggan and wife and B. Lovell stiad all night hear to nightt.
Sun. 8- All gone home but Stover. Cool to day.
Mon. 9- Plantted corn all day me and Stover and the boys.
Tue. 10-  The same all day. Sallie Hudgins and Jeff Hudgins and Stover eat dinner hear today. Sallie gone home.
Wen. 11- Pigee, Sam Colvin, Stover eat dinner hear today. Bought of Moore coffee $1.00. Ed Page snuf 10cts, thread 5cts. Paid inshurence 17.45. Total 20.60 cts spent today. Stover hear today . Bent and Julius plowing. Well I quit today.
Thur. 12- Stover gone home. Benton and Julius at work. Clabe in the house. Moste of the time keeping house.
Fri. 13- Boys at work. Jack Greer, White, Nick Baley hear to day. I did not sighn that papper for them.
Sat. 14- Boys worked till 12 oclock. Ben cold for a week. Frost. Loand Julius 20 dollars to day. He went to Nashville.
Fri. 15- Will Hannah and wife hear to dya. Ewing and Troy come to see us. Glad to see him and Troy. Julius on Sams Creek.
Mon. 16- Planted corn half day. Sam Colvin hear to day.
Tue. 17- Raind all day. Stover come. Ed Clark hear. Sit till bed time.
Wen. 18- Benton and Stover gone fishing. Julius gone to Sams Creek. Give Julius 1.65 cts to shoe mule. Warm to day.
Thur. 19- Raind to day. Dun nothing all day.
Fri. 20- Went to Sams Creek. Raind to day. All night at Rustey Hoopers. Me and Frank Crumpler. I went with Frank.
Sat. 21- Come home. Raind. Bought of Jordan one bridle one dollar. Paid cash. Jo Hale 20 cts. Total 1.20 cts spent today.
Sun. 22- Raind to day. Give Benton and Julius one dollar a peace.
Mon. 23- Raind today. Grubed all day me, Stover and Benton.
Tue. 24- Julius gone to Sams Creek. Me, Stover, and Benton grubing.
Wen. 25- Went fishing me and Stover. Caught nothing. Seen Tom Hale.
Thur. 26- Plantted corn all day. ME, Stover, Benton, and Julius.
Fri. 27- The same all day. It has ben wet for two weeks.
Sat. 28- The same till 3 oclock. Stover caught a fish. 2 1/2 lbs.
Sun. 29- Paid Stover 2 dollars. Stover gone home or started ther. Julius gone to Sams Creek. Give Julius one dollar. Total 3.00 dollars. Raind hard today. Benton and Julius come home wet.
Mon. 30- 65 years old to day. And a good man yet.
Tue. 31- Planted corn all day. No 1/2 day. I went to Kingston. Bought from Ed Page shuggar 50cts, coffee 50cts. Paid cash. So this is the last of May 1910.
