Wen. 1- Rain and sleet this morning. I will see if it rains fifteen days or not this month. Good luck. Uncle John Woodard stopted to warm. Will Brown col buried yesterday. Julius went to see Mrs. Riggan. She was better.
Thur. 2- Went to mill and worked on barn. Jeff Hudgins hear today. Ed clark come and sit till bed time.
Fri. 3- Cold this morning. Frost and ice. Julius working for the Clark brothers. Going to Kingston after back bands. Tom Turner died this morning 30 minutes after 8 o clock this morning. He was a son of Ruffus and Sis Turner nee Riggan. He leaves a brother John Turner. His mother was a daughter of Tom Riggan and Sallie Riggan nee Parkerson. His father was killed bey a train when Tom was a small boy or had his leg cut off and died from the hurt. Tom was a good man and a self made man and one that will missed in the community in whitch he lived. He had a good father. I loved him. A good friend to me. Warm this eavening. Not heard from Mrs. Riggan today. Tom Turner married Miller Talleys daughter. Had no children. Miller Talley was the son of Bill Talley. Lovell Hooper married Miller Talleys sister.
Sat. 4- Went to Kingston. Bought of Ed Page flour 75 cts shuggar 25cts tabaco 25cts stampes 16cts. Total 1.36cts spent today. Seen Ramson Leech at the trial. Julius halled ties to the top of Dog Creek Hill. He come home.Sun. 5- Raind to day. Julius went to Sams Creek. Mrs Riggan worse.
Mon. 6- Raind today. Tellegraph pole across the railroad taken off bey the 5:40. Ed Clark hear this morning. Warm today or this morning. Went to Kingston. Ed Harris hear today. Julius plowed for Clarks. Clabe dun nothing 1/3 of a day.
Tue. 7- Worked on the barn me and Julius till 7 oclock. Mary sold 3 hens to woods today. 2.00 dollars.

Thur. 9- Went to Kingston. Bought of Ed Page coffee 1.00 dollar matches 10cts. Total 1.10 cts. Got a letter from Murphy and Benton. Harry Newberry cut his foot badley. Julius plowed for Clark. Got a letter from Ivan Dozier. John Greers mair got a fine colt. He will make a 2:16 to the mile. Thunder and lightning at 8 oclock tonight and wind.
Fri. 10- Julius plowing for Clarks. Clear this morning. Mary sold a hen and a rooster to Frank Woodard for $1.30 cts yesterday. Sam Colvin hear yesterday. Jim Stover come hear tonight. Marthey gon home. Mrs. Riggan bad off. Very low. Not exspectted to live but a few days. Worked on barn 1/2 day and fished the rest.
Sat. 11- Stover gone home. I went to Pegrams Station. Bought of King one twist tabaco 10cts one pipe 5cts total 15cts. Caught 3 fish yesterday. Had a big mess for supper last night. Julius plowing for Clarks 1/2 day and went to Sams creek. Ben Hale and Larkins Hooper staid all night. Jule come home. Jim Lankford shot and killed a yound man Wednesday March the 8th 1911 so I heard. He was run down bey the blood hounds so I hear and is in jale at Dickson. Way laid the young man and killed him in the field at work. If this be true he aught to hang bey neck untill he is dead dead dead. Accordian to law.
Sun. 12- Hale and Hooper gon home. Mr. Lampley hear to day. Hot today. Like summer time. Me and Mary bey our selves. Must go and feed eat supper and go to bed. I did it.
Mon. 13- Dun nothing all day. Got John Greers mules off the rail road allso John Keetons. Julius plowed for Clarks. WIlliam Price come staid all night. Mary not well.
Tue. 14- Price hear. Julius plowing for Clarks. Ed Clark hear this morning. Going to work on the barn today. Mrs. Riggan no better yesterday so Price sed. Benton come home from Jasper. Ed Clark hear to night.
Wen. 15- Julius gon to Sams Creek allso Price. Dun nothing all day. Big fire in Nashville yesterday. Nine men lost theair lives bey the walls falling on them so I hear. Big frost this morning and ice.
Thur. 16- Cold. Ground hard frozed. Ice inch thick and still cold. Julius on Sams Creek. Got to milk. Shure is two cold to work on the barn. Have John Dillingham hear Tuesday the 14th 1911. Will Becks col boy died today.
Fri. 17- Julius come home to night. Dun nothing on the barn. Lucin Clark and brother hear to night. Sit till bed time.
Sat. 18- Julius gon to Sams Creek. Reeder hear today. Raind. Went to mill at Kingston. Seen Bush. He was going to Hunnington West Tennessee. Benton went to Pegrams. Ed Clark hear today. Bought of Harris 1/2 bushell 70cts. Paid cash. Bought of Ed Page 1 bushel potatoes 1.00 dollars. Paid cash. Stamps 10cts. Total 1.80 cts spent today. Stil raining this eavening. Mary bought the potatoes her self and paid for them. Julius come home. Fire out on Sams Creek.
Sun. 19- I went to OFF Fulghams today. Boys out to night. Seen Jene Fulghams up at his fathers. He is at work at Cowin Tennessee. Off Fulgham at Hickman Ky. J Willey and John Akens and a negro had a fight last night so I heard but dont know how true it is. I hope it is not so.
Mon. 20- Frost this morning but warm today at 12 oclock. Benton makeing ties for Reeder comminced this morning. Me and Julius halled wood and rails and worked on the lot fence. Jim Stover come hear to night.
Tue. 21- Went to Kingston. Bought of Ed Page union sets 25cts. From Ritchardson black oil 10cts. Total 35cts. Paid cash. Julius helping Sam Colvin to day. I worked on the garden. Stover hear. He caught a fish. Benton makeing ties for Reeder. I must go and feed.
Wen. 22- Mays hear this morning. Roggers hear this morning. Julius helping Sam Colvin. Stover fishing. Clabe going to Kingston to see Spaulding a bout the burning of the medow whitch was burnt on February the 25th 1911 bey a freight just ahead of the 12:40. Benton makeing ties for Reeder. Got nothing from the railroad. Bought of Ed Page coffee 1.00 dollar. Minnie come today and the children. Julius caught a fish today. Hartley hear today. Ed Clark come down. Sit till bed time.
Thur. 23- Minnie and the children hear all so Stover. Cold to day. Maide no traid this morning. Doing nothing today. Went to Pegrams. Got Minnies trunk. Patterson staid all night all so Minnie and the Children and Stover. Tree fell on the railroad today.
Fri. 24- Julius gone to Sams Creek. Patterson and Stover gone. Jordan hear this morning. All so Cliff Butler. Benton tie makeing. Medow burnt off today. 5 akers about 2 oclock. Damage 50 dollars. Warmer this eavening. Dun nothing all day. Mad as the devil. I had just as soon fight as not to fight as not knowing ther is nothing two it but hurt. Mrs Blenck Greer sit up all night with Mr Hale. Medow burnt.
Sat. 25- Mr. Appleton hear today. I am still doing nothing but dont know how long i can live at it but think I will soon starre out at do nothing bushes.
Sun. 26- Julius went to Sams Creek. I went to Clarks. Claud Crouch hear to day. Cliff Butler hear today. Julius come home. News afloat today. Herman Riggan no better so I heard to day. Raind to day till 12 oclock. Mrs. Riggan better.
Mon. 27- Julius come home last night and gone to Sams Creek this morning. Mary sick today in bed. Benton tie makeing. I am doing nothing. Seen Rogers. Stover.
Tue. 28- Bussing and Hartley hear to night allso Stover. Benton tie makeing.
Wed. 29- Went to Kingston. Mary sick, Stover hear. Julius plowing the garden. Bussing and Hartley out. Seen John Smith today or this morning. Cold today. Halled a load of wood. Still cold this eavening.
Thur. 30- Bussing and Hartley and Stover hear. Planted potatoes and unions. Worked hard all day. Mrs. Hale died tonight at 11 oclock at night. Cold, big frost.
Fri. 31 - Bussing and Hartley gon to mound bottom. Charley Sears lost a mule to day. 150 dollars. Stover hear. Cold. Big frost and ice this morning. So this ends the month of March 1911
