Thur. 1- Hot. Not raind in a month but just a little. Ground cery dry June 1st 1911. Owe Mary 1.50cts. Will shure pay it before long. Julius on Sams Creek. I am thinking of going to town Nashville. Went to Nashville. Train fair 49cts beer 5cts street car fair 5cts. Total 59cts. Paid cash. All night at Stovers. Seen Mary Wright for the first time in fortey years. She looks young. Want let Mary Know.

Fri. 2- A man stayed all night hear last night bey ther name of Stuard last night so Mary told me when I come home. Julius on Sams Creek. In Nashville all day. Seen Tom Tubberville in the court house.Tom Tubberville in the court house. Hot and dry. Julius on Sams Creek. Minnie Hudgins, Boudge Hudgins, Jane Hudgins hear today. Eat dinner hear. Stuart gone. Benton sick in Nashville all day. Staid all night at Jim Stovers. Walked 25 miles I think. Seen Lee Kenedey. He is a fine looking man. A woman killed her daughter in Nashville so I heard with a butcher knife. Stuck the girl thrue the heart so I was told but dont know how true it is. Beer 20cts.

Sat. 3- Come home. Found all well. Stover come home with me. Roof Puckett and Stover all night. Beer 20cts car fair 59cts. Total 79cts. Owe Jim Stover 59cts. Julius come home. Minnie Hudgins was hear today insted of yesterday. Hot and dry. No rain. Stuart left this morning insted of yesterday. Seen Jess Jordan and John Davidson and Dock Howxs today in Nashville. Allso Charley Lovell, Tipe Cullum, Percey Young, Jess Cullum, Sam Mays, Dug Lovell and a good many more. Allso Tom Horne.

Sun. 4- At home. Hot and dry. No rain yet. Seen Winslow Johnson yesterday. Went to Sams Creek. All night at Jim Hoopers. Cloudey this eavening but no rain.

Tue. 6- Come home. Found all well. No rian yet.Wen. 7- Went to Kingston. Bought of Ed Page coffee one dollar snuff 10cts tabaco 25. Total 1.35. Walter Crouch and Jack Trinum staid all night. Hot and dry. John cox shot Earl Hows last Monday the 5th so I hear but dont know how true it is.

Thur. 8-Crouch, Trinnum, Dick Lovell, gon home. Green hear. Hot and dry. No rain yet. Got a letter from Ed Fulton. Julius on Sams Creek.Sat. 10- green gon. Julius come home. Hot and dry.

Sun. 11- Raind some today. No bodey hear to day.

Mon. 12- Julius gon to Sams Creek. Sam Colvin hear today. I went to mill. Thompsons mill. Clear. The wind blowing from the North. Murphy and daughter hear today. Seen John Greer.

Tue. 13- Plowed all day. Fulton come staid all night.

Wen. 14- Went with Fulton all day. Come home. Fulton all night.

Fri. 16- Plowed. Broked a plow. Double shovell. Benton cutting bushes and plowed part of the day. Fulton gon home. Raind. Just sprinkled. Did not lay the dust. Hot and dry. Spilt my ink.

Sat. 17- Went to Kingston. Cut bushes ahalf day. Hot and dry.

Sun. 18- Went Dick Hoopers. Staid all night ther. No I am rong. I staid all night at Frank Hoopers.

Mon. 19- At Ashland on the jury. All night at Jene Cullums, Daniel Hoopers trial going on ther and it is shamefull. I hate to hear it. Onehundred witnesses ther so I was told. But dont know.

Tue. 20- At Ashland. All night at Bill Clarks all night.

Wen. 21- At Ashland. The hoope trial going on yet. Dick Hooper got sick and I brougt him home in a bugey. Two dollars. Dick like to died. I staid all night with Dick. My grass all burnt up bey the railroad. The 12:40 set it a fire.

Thur. 22- Come home in the bugey with Washington. Harry Newberry stiad all night hear Wednesday night. Paid Charley King two dollars and 37cts in full. 10 cts for one twist tobaco 5cts for sodey water. Total 2 dollars and fiftey 2 cts spent to day.

Fri. 23- Halled hay. Raind some this eavening. Went to Kingston after wyre me and Julius. Erbe Clark and wife gon to Nashville. Borrowed Clarks piseth fork.

Sat. 24- Julius gon to Sams Creek to see Dick. Jeff Hudgins hear today. Riand a little. You wait till I go or come. I will. June the 24th 1911 Satruday at that.

Sun. 25- Big rain. river over the low bottoms today. Julius went to Andrew Hudgins. Babey cery sick.

Mon. 26- put up fence and went to mill. Benton helping John Keeton sit up corn 1/2 day. The Clarks helpte us put up fence. Good men. The jury give a judgement against D.W. Hooper for five thousand dollars and cost of suit on Friday June the 23 1911 so I hear. I beleave Ewing Graner and Jo Justice is the best lawers in the state. Ewing Garner aught to be on the Supreame Bench of the state. He would make a fair imparshal judge and one that knows the laws of the state. He is one of the best lawers in Tennessee in my judgment and a good judge law and so will be as good as he is at his age.

Tue. 27- Got the fence dun and got the hogs up all of them. Hot and dry today. Got a letter from Lish Hooper.

Wen. 28- Going to plowing. John Cox shot stearl Hows about 3 weeks ago so I hear but dont know. Went to Kingston. Bought of Ed Page Coffee 50cts shuggar 50cts flour 70cts oil 15cts snuff 10cts. Total 1.95. Stover come to day. Hot, 90 today. Seen Herman Reha at Kingston Springs today. Boys plowing to day. Seen Jim Winburne.

Thur. 29- Plowed all day me and Julius. Stover hear.

Fri. 30- Plowing me and Julius. Stover hear fishing. So this is the end of the month of June  1911.
