November 1905

Wed. 1- Up the creek. Dun nothing. Seen Jack Jordan, Pairlee Lovell, Mrs. Work and children. Julius come home. Chess Wyman Co. commenced loading boat on Tues Oct. 31 1905.
Thur. 2- Dug potatoes. Asa Dozier hear to day. Still loading boat. Mary making soup out on the pod.
Fri. 3- Chess Wyman Co. still loading boat so I hear. Raind some this morning. Patrick hear today. Staid all night. Benton had a chill. Mrs. Work and children hear today. Seen Tom Cullum.
Sun. 5- Raind today, Tom Work, Bates Crouch, Tom Lovell, Bill Dozier and son hear today. Julius went to Nashville yesterday. Lish made ties yesterday. Allso Dock Hooper. Mad dog out so I hear. Will stop till nght.
Mon. 6- Dug potatoes. Tom Work hear today. Julius come home.
Tue. 7- Dug potatoes. Bramer staid all night.
Wed. 8- Out in the woods all day me and Bramer, Pat hear tonight.
Hur. 9- Dug potatoes. Mrs. Work and children hear today.
Fri. 10- Bramer hear tonight. Allso Patrick. Lish and Tom Work gon to Nashville. Bought Mary 2 dresses.
Sat. 11- Dun nothing. Mrs. Work and children hear today. Tomey Jordan hear today. Allso Anney Hooper.
Sun. 12- Collins, Thom Hamelton, Bill Dozier, Asa Dozier, Dick Hooper, Ewing Hooper eat dinner hear today. Lish and Tom come from dinner hear today. Lish and Tom come from town yesterday. Jo Hooper and wife come down today. Give Tom Hamelton a pule today. Jo gon back. Jim Demoss died Saturday Nov. the 10th 1905,
Mon. 13- Pretty and clear this morning. Jim Demoss buried today. Lish sick, dug potatoes.
Tue. 14- Went Pond Creek. Baits Crouch hear to day.
We. 15- Mrs. Work hear to day, and children. Julius come hoem. Asa Dozier hear.
Thur. 16- Cold this morning. The coldist day of the year or this fall. Went to the mill. Ann Hooper, Lesley Crouch, Della Crouch, Pairlee Lovell, Bill Dozier, Asa Dozier hear today. Jordans mill moved off to day. Seen Ewing to day. Egbert Hooper off to day. Seen Ewing to day. Egbert Hooper killed hogs yesterday all so Dick Jordan.
Fri. 19- Clear this morning and frost. Got some wood and dun nothing the rest of the day. Frank Hooper over today. Mary washing. Dick halling ties for Lish. Will stop till night. Frank Hooper sold his farm to Hamton so I hear. Julius come home all so Tom Work. Got a letter from Jim Riggans.
Sat. 18- Mrs. Work, Tom Work hear to day. I went to the store. Jack Jordans lumber cried on by Tom Hamelton. Ewing and wife come staid all night. Dick hauling ties.
Sun. 19- Raind some this morning. Ewing and wife hear. Had my  whiskers cut off. Today some bodey stold my Sunday coat. All I had, but I hope it will do him some good for I exspect he needed it or he would have not stold it. If he had come to me I would giv it to him if he need it that bad and pants to go with it. It would have done my sole good to hepted him in his poverty. And his sole would have ben clear of guilt. I hope hoo ever he is that he may turn to the lord of hoste and live a true christain all the rest of his life. That it may be well with hime in the greate day of judgement. May he walk the streets of Gods holy citey wher God will clear all tears frome his eyes, and where the weeked ceas from troubling and the wary be at rest. What a great thing it is to love and serve the lord and help them that need it. Well I will stop before I preach a sermon but I hope God will bless that thief that stold my coat. All things is for the best I recon’d. Miss  Ida Brown and Travis married to day so I hear. Ewing and wife gon home. Charley Russell and Dick Jordan eat dinner hear to day.
Mon. 20- Went up the creek. Bought one coat from Pad Jordan 1.25, 2 pairs drawers $1.00. Paid cash for them. Pairlee, Mrs. Work and children, Bates Crouch, Asa Dozier, eat dinner hear today. Went to Rusteys, sit till bed time. Jess Browns babey borned today. Boy Crouch opened up his store today. Stock $100.00 Rustey and wife gon to Nashville Tuesday Nov 21st.
Tue. 21- Dick Lovell hear to day. Dun nothing all day. All night at Dick Lovells me and mary.
Wed. 22- Went to Nashville me and Dick Lovell. Staid all night with a Hunter me and Tip Cullum. Dr. Hooper sick.
Thur. 23- Come home. Mary come home. Bobe Johnson come home to day. Dr. No better.  George Zink died this morning at 2 O’clock at Dr, Eaves infermry.
Fri. 24- Raind this morning. Ewing, Patrick, Julius, Dick, Bill Dozier, Asa Dozier hear today. Eat dinner hear.
Sat. 25- Went to Ashland. Eat dinner at Brandey Doziers. Owe Abe Ogle 10 cts. Brandey come over today. Patrick staid all night hear. Julius come home.
Sun. 26- Dr. Olipant hear today. Egbert Hooper went Ashland yesterday him and wife. Ewing come down today. Dick Lovell hear yesterday. MC Glasco died yesterday.
Mon. 27- Dun nothing all day. Dick halling ties. Fowler mad a failure Sunday 26. Marsh Allen went to Nashville to day.
Tue. 28- Seen uncle Tom Smiley Hooper this morning. Dick halling ties. Raind some this morning. Warm this morning, 66. Mary went the store yesterday, Pads store, Julius and Pat staid all night. Dun nothing all day.
Wed. 29- Raind to day or this morning, Julius and Pat gone. MRs. Work and children hear today. Allso Tom. Clear at 12 O clock. Creek up, Dick hauling ties.
Thur. 30- Went to see Charley Russell. Cold this morning. Seen Tom Pardue, Mitchell, Bates Crouch, Hubert Mitchell hear today. Ate dinner at Dick Hoopers. So this winds up the month of November 1905.
