Fri. 1- Lish gon to Nashville. Cold this morning. Pat hear today. Rustey Killing hogs so I hear. Mary washing. Cold. Raind some today. Will stop till night. Lish come back from town. Hubert Crouch and Patrick staid all night hear to night. Dr. Hooper better. Can't yet set up.
Sat. 2- Raining this morning. Hubert gon home. Rustey hear this morning. Turned cold to day.
Sun. 3- Went to Mrs. Riggans. Donly in trouble so I hear.
Mon. 4- Jack Allen hear. Patrick gon. Lish and Julius cutting ties. Ewing hear.
Tue. 5- Went to Tom Pardues. Down to 10. Cold. Pulling corn. Seen Frank Ragan to day. Bought one twist tobacco 10 cts.
Wen. 6- At home all day. Pulling corn. Bought one box snuff 10cts.
Thur. 7- Went to Pad Jordans. Sold him 8 tubes corn. Got wood. Toted it on my back. Doing nothing all day.
Fri. 8- Helped Dick kill hogs. Well I am not in a good mood but will do the best I can in this life. I want to live long no how and I think thir is one will be glad when I am gon. A man may be as good as he can be to some and they will hate him. I am lonly this eavening but I cant help that.
Sat. 9- John Banister and wife and Herman Riggan come up from West Tennessee to day. Lish gon to Nashville. Ewing mooved to the springs to day. So I will stop.
Sun. 10- Lish come back from town. John Banister and wife, Dick Lovell eat dinner hear to day. My goods come last night. Mule sick to day. No marrying to day. Dog hear last night.
Mon. 11- Banister and wife gon. His wife gone to E.L. Hoopers. Benton went with her and come back home.
Tue. 12- In the woods all day. John Banister come home with me to night. Staid all night. Gon this morning.
Wed. 13- At home getting wood today. Moors team in the hollow to day. Benton had a chill yesterday. Mary washed yesterday. Cloudey today. Looked like rain. Lish and Julius cutting ties. Well I will stop till night. Buisness is all I will tak a bout at home. From this day and dait I will do all the good I can. I will tell my children how to live. Thur. 14- Cut wood. Lish put up the back and jams in the fire place. Raind today. Mrs. Miller come down today to Tom Works. Bought one saw 2.40. Owe for it.
Fri. 15- Raind all day. John Banister hear today. Shelled corn. 3 bushells me and Benton. Julius come home.
Sat. 16- John Banister and Herman Riggan hear to day. I cryed off Wash Allens sale. 2.50cts I made today. Miss Della Crouch run away to day with Mclaw.
Sun. 17- Ozies Crouch and wife, Mrs. Miller, Charles Jordan, John Hooper, Bill Dozier, Asa Dozier, Dick Hooper, Ewing Hooper hear today allso Gairson, Mrs. Work and children. Patrick hear all night. Went to Tom Works. Set bed time. Went to Rusteys and shaved.
Mon. 18- Got store wood. Patrick hear all night. Bill Work cried on the home place today. Baits Crouch, Tom Crouch hear today. Lish gon all so Julius.
Tue. 19- Owe Will Shearon 5cts. for one twist tobaco. Went to Ashland. All night at Brandeys.
Wed. 20- Come home, John Crow come in. Raind all day. Made 25 dollars to day.
Thur. 21- At home. Raind this morning. Jess Dozier was hear Tuesday Dec the 19theenth 1905. Seen Bobe Lovell yesterday at Ashland. Seen the 21 Dec 1905 The American Agent. Paid a det of 20 dollars and 90 cts. for Jim Riggan to day. Give Bill Work 5cts to pay WIll Shearon today. At Tom Crouches, clearin off this eaveing. Lish gon. Bill Work hear to day.
Fri. 22- Went to Pegram Sta. Raind all day. Fowler broke up the concert to night. So I hear.
Sat. 23- John Banister and wife hear tonight. Lish and Julius gon to Nashville and come home.
Sun. 24- Jim Riggan com up this morning. Banister and wife hear all night.
Mon. 25- John Crouch and wife
hear to day. Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Work and children hear to day. Hubert Crouch, Grover Dozier, Tom Work, Marsh Allen, John Banister and wife, Egbert Riggan, Olie Butler, eat dinner hear to day. Mr. Nash staid with me to night for the first time in life.
Tue. 26- Ben Lovell died to day. Charley Jordan, Frank Jordan, Everett Crouch, John Harper, Patrick, Bill Dozier, Asa Dozier, Dick Hooper, Anney Hooper hear today. Patrick and Nash staid all night. Paid Tom Crouch 7.95 to day for Jess Dozier. Tom Crouch shurley hates me but he has no caus for it.
Wed. 27- Nash hear to night. Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Work and children, Patrick hear to day. Dick Lovell hear to night. Jim Riggan and son gon to Nashville, so I hear. Bill Jones dide to day.
Thur. 28- Patrick hear to night. All so Jim Hooper. Got wood to day. Mary went Tom Works today. Bill Jones and Ben Lovell buried today. Jo Justices mother dead so I hear. A good woman gon to heaven. I am sorry for Jo Justice. He is a good man or I think he is. Patrick gon. Bought one doze boxes matches from Jordan 10cts, one plug tabaco 5cts, boy 5cts, Total 20cts.
Fri. 29- Mitchell hear to day allso Jim Hooper, Baits Crouch, Jack Work. Went Rusteys. I eat dinner thir. Patrick staid all night.
Sat. 30- John Stump and Mitchell hear today. Tom Work halling wood on the Kirkman tract of land. Lish out today. Dick halling ties I hear. Benton makeing ties. Will stop till night. Lish gon to Ashland him and Allen. Pat hear all night. Snowd last night. Pat gon. Sunday morning 31.
